Gerald’s Story
Woodworking is a passion that was passed down to me from my father and grandfather. I have thoroughly enjoyed the craft that they taught me. I have been building or refinishing wood furniture for many years since. Every refinished piece has its own personality and beauty and I enjoy seeing it come back to life.
In the mid 90’s my wife was given her grandparents china cabinet and buffet. It had layers and layers of varnish applied over the years and when we began to remove the old finish, we then realized the beautiful wood grains and craftsmanship that was invested in these beautiful pieces from the early 1900’s. What a find! Several years ago, I made the decision to restore quality wood furniture for clients. Furniture that is well made with quality materials such as solid wood tops. These pieces can be ready to serve your family for another 50 to 75 years. One of my other passions is my family. I have been married to my lovely bride for 45 years. We have a daughter and a son and 9 grandkids.
